Job summary

Walden Behavioral Care is seeking a licensed Therapist for the Walden DDS Program in Massachusetts to provide in-person therapy for individuals with eating disorders and developmental disabilities. You will travel to clients’ homes or group homes across Massachusetts to deliver individualized therapy.

The role involves collaborating with a Registered Dietitian and interdisciplinary team, conducting assessments, and implementing evidence-based interventions tailored to ASD, PDD, ID, and related

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Active Massachusetts state license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, BCBA, or equivalent) – independent license preferred.
• Experience working with ASD, PDD, ID, and other developmental disorders.
• Experience or knowledge in treating eating disorders, especially in neurodivergent populations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations across Massachusetts to provide individualized therapy services.
• Work with individuals diagnosed with ASD, PDD, ID, and other developmental disabilities who have disordered eating or an eating disorder.
• Conduct assessments and develop behavioral, emotional, and coping strategies to address mental health, eating behaviors, and food-related anxieties.
• Implement evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and exposure therapies.

Skills
