Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing speech therapy.
• Evaluates patient function and assists physician in plan of care.
• Treats patients to communicate effectively and express thoughts according to condition.
• Observes, records and reports progress or changes to supervising staff.
• Instructs patient, family and caregivers in speech therapy areas.
