Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for our Home & Community Program in Everett, WA. This PRN W2 role focuses on one-on-one, functional rehabilitation delivered in clients’ homes and communities.

You will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Join a multidisciplinary team with opportunities for growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Valid SLP license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with moving patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Conduct discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.
