Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide skilled therapy in patients’ homes across Alabama. The role includes evaluating language and swallowing disorders and collaborating with physicians to guide care.

The position involves travel to single or multi-family homes, assisted living, and memory care settings, with ongoing professional development and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting under the care of an attending physician.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders.
• Work with patients who have had a stroke and those with Parkinson’s disease or dementia.
