Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a 14-week assignment in Rutland, Vermont. The role focuses on outpatient rehabilitation in home and facility settings, with a guarantee of 40 hours per week and daytime hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license, possess or be eligible for ASHA CCC, and have transportation to patients' residences.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Must possess or be eligible for ASHA CCC or ASHA Clinical Fellow.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patients’ residences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CFYs, students and support personnel in alignment with state licensure requirements.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules and complete clinical and billing documentation.
• Attend and contribute to patient care and staff meetings and care conferences.
• Coordinate referrals to other disciplines to meet patient needs.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team and physician to select appropriate therapy.
• Adapt plans of care based on individual patient progress and needs.
