Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking caring tutors to provide in-home, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in Pomona, CA. The role emphasizes developing tailored instruction based on each student’s IEP and supporting daily activities and emotional growth.

Must be able to commute to Pomona, CA. Fluency in Spanish is preferred and prior experience with special education is highly valued. Flexible hours including before/after school or weekends are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special education needs.
• Ability to develop IEP-aligned lesson plans.
• Comfort delivering in-home, one-on-one tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 tutoring sessions for students with special education needs.
• Develop personalized lessons aligned with each student's IEP.
• Adapt materials and assessments to suit learning styles.
• Track progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and special education teams.
