Job summary

Tutor Me Education is hiring in Hawthorne, CA for an In-Home Tutor with special education experience to deliver 1:1 tutoring in students' homes. You will develop personalized lessons aligned with each student's IEP, adapt materials, track progress, and communicate with families to support academic growth.

We offer flexible before/after school or weekend hours (approximately 10–20 hours per month) and a supportive environment that values inclusive education and hands-on, goal-driven instruction

Qualifications

Requires experience with students who have special needs and IEPs.
Needs ability to travel to Hawthorne, CA for in-home sessions.
Background check may be required.

Responsibilities

Conduct 1:1 in-home tutoring sessions for students with special needs.
Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with each student's IEP.
Adapt materials and assessments to fit individual learning styles.
Track progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
Communicate with parents and teachers to support a cohesive plan.
