Job summary

Tutor Me Education in Fontana, CA seeks In-Home Tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 tutoring in students' homes. You'll develop personalized lessons aligned to IEPs, adapt materials, and document progress.

This role offers flexible hours (before/after school and weekends) with competitive pay of $25-$35 per hour, and opportunities to collaborate with teachers and families to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing IEP-aligned lessons.
• Ability to adapt materials for diverse learning needs.
• In-home tutoring experience preferred.
• Enrolled in college or higher education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions for students with special education needs.
• Develop personalized lesson plans and strategies that align with each student's IEP.
• Adapt materials, assessments, and teaching methods to fit individual learning styles.
• Track and document student progress, making adjustments to teaching methods as necessary.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and special education teams for a cohesive learning experience.
• Keep open communication with parents or guardians, discussing student progress and addressing concerns.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment that supports emotional and behavioral growth.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in special education and incorporate them into your lessons.
