Job summary

A tutoring company is seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide personalized 1:1 in-home tutoring in the Bay Area. As a Special Education Aide, you will help students with their daily activities and deliver tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Ideal candidates should be enrolled in college or have completed an AA, BA or higher. The position offers flexible hours and a chance to make a meaningful impact in students' lives.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs and accommodations is highly preferred.
• Must be able to commute to the Bay Area.
• Ability to pass an in‑person background check (if required).

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions for students with special education needs.
• Develop personalized lesson plans based on each student's IEP.
• Track and document student progress.
