Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking passionate Special Education In-Person Tutors to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring for students with special needs in CA. You’ll help students reach academic goals through tailored, IEP-aligned instruction and supportive mentoring.

Responsibilities include developing personalized lesson plans, adapting materials, tracking progress, and collaborating with parents and teachers to ensure a cohesive learning experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs and accommodations is preferred.
• Must be able to commute in-person to students' homes.
• Flexible schedule with Before/After school hours or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 in-home tutoring sessions for students with special education needs.
• Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Adapt materials and assessments to fit individual learning styles.
• Track and document student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and special education teams for cohesive support.
