Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for in-home health care on a PRN basis.

You will assess and treat patients' hearing, swallowing, and language impairments in their homes, maintain records, and educate caregivers. Flexible scheduling and 1:1 patient care are offered to support work-life balance.

Applicants should have a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, current SLP licensure in the state, CPR/BLS/First Aid, and transportation to care sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current unrestricted SLP license in the relevant state.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to care sites and/or work locations.
• At least 1 year of professional SLP experience in home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home programs for treating hearing, swallowing, and language impairments.
• Evaluate patients' speech and language abilities and perform periodic reevaluations.
• Plan and provide rehabilitative services for speech and language conditions; select and administer diagnostic/therapeutic techniques.
• Record treatment types and progress in clinical notes; maintain patient records and reports.
• Educate caregivers and family members on methods to support patients' communication and swallowing improvements.
