Job summary

The Senior Hub-Meals on Wheels of Fairfield County is seeking a full-time In-Home Services Manager to oversee our Homemaking and other in-home service programs that help older adults remain safe, independent, and connected in their homes.

The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to work effectively with both clients and staff in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license is required and supervisory experience is essential.

Qualifications

• RN, LPN (working under RN), or STNA with at least 2 years of experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Homemaker, Emergency Response, and Adaptive equipment programs and staff.
• Oversee and maintain the In-Home Repair Program.
• Conduct initial visits and develop care plans for the Homemaker program.
• Coordinate contracted providers and programming for the In-Home Services Department.
• Coordinate and schedule in-home services with contracted or internal staff, including personal care, homemaker, respite, and home repairs.
• Collaborate with community providers to fulfill in-home service referrals.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of service units and provider billing.
• Develop an annual continuing education curriculum for In-Home Services staff.
• Maintain training records as required by COAAA.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working under an RN
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with at least 2 years of experience

Additional Requirements:

• Supervisory experience required
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
