Preferred Care at Home of Wake Forest, Zebulon, and Henderson is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCA/HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors in Henderson, NC and nearby communities. This assignment-based role offers flexible scheduling, W-2 employment, and weekly pay with opportunities for additional hours as client needs grow.

Qualifications

• PCA, HHA, home care, memory care experience is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
• Reliable transportation to clients’ homes and ability to pass background screening.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Helping clients with safe transfers and mobility.
• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Providing medication reminders as part of the care plan.
• Assisting with grocery shopping and errands as needed.
• Providing transportation when authorized by the care plan.
• Supporting clients living with dementia and observing changes in condition.
• Following the client’s established plan of care.
