Job summary

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care in Poway, CA is seeking compassionate HCA caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors. You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, mobility, and companionship while documenting progress for supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• Valid TB test (within the last 24 months).
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, family members, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Ability to lift and assist with transfers, if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meals, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor and document client progress and report changes to supervisors.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as needed.
• Offer companionship and ensure a positive, safe care environment for each client.
