Job summary

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care, based in Sacramento, CA, is seeking dedicated HCA caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support. The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with a pay rate of $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, and engaging clients in activities to support well-being. Must be registered as an HCA in California and pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• Valid TB test within the last 24 months.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor and document client’s progress, any changes in condition, and report to supervisors as necessary.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as needed.
• Offer companionship and ensure a positive, safe, and caring environment for each client.
