Happier At Home - Northeast Iowa is seeking an in-home senior caregiver to help our clients live safely and independently at home. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, and support mobility and medication reminders in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Minimum age 18 with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
