Happier At Home – Northeast Iowa is seeking an In-Home Senior Caregiver to support seniors in maintaining independence at home. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help create a safe, comfortable living environment.

We value compassionate, reliable caregivers who communicate well and can work independently. Start pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling to fit your life.

Qualifikationen

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience required.

Aufgaben

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
