Visiting Angels of Jasper is hiring an In Home Personal Aide to support seniors in the local area, including Huntingburg, Ferdinand, Washington, Loogootee, Santa Clause, Dale, Vincennes and beyond. This role offers flexibility, growth opportunities, and a chance to make a difference in clients' lives.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, mobility support, medication prompts, transportation to appointments, and companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reliable transportation to client visits is required.
• Excellent time-management and communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with light housekeeping and cooking tasks is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response is valued.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping and meal planning.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise goals and mobility needs.
• Prompt clients for medication at appropriate times.
• Assist with shopping or errands as needed.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients based on ability.
• Provide companionship and support in daily activities.
