Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home direct patient care under the prescribed plan, with emphasis on comfort and dignity for clients.

This role requires an Associate degree in Nursing, an active RN license, CPR/BLS/First Aid certification, and reliable transportation. Weekend shifts available with flexible scheduling and 1:1 patient care; daily pay option and no overtime.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing (AND) or AAS required.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the state of this position.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites.
• Trach and/or ventilator experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home direct patient care according to the provider's plan of care and nursing scope of practice.
• Assess and document patient conditions and report changes (vitals, blood/stool/urine, glucose, etc.).
• Administer medication, insulin, and IV/fluids; document thoroughly.
• Inspect and care for wounds, change dressings and assist with personal hygiene.
• Assess patient for further injuries, infections, bedsores, and deliver appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers, aides, and other health professionals to ensure patient outcomes.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing (AND) or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS)
