Cambridge Caregivers, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our in-home care team. The RN will provide direct nursing care, ensure physician-directed treatments are followed, and delegate tasks to caregivers to support client needs.

The role emphasizes flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to engage with clients and families to deliver comfort and high-quality care in home settings.

Qualificações

• Current Texas RN license or Compact license in good standing.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Friendly, compassionate demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with technology for documentation (WellSky).
• Previous experience in home health, hospice, or personal assistance care.
• Familiarity with delegating tasks in a home care setting.
• Experience working with older adults experiencing brain change (dementia, ALZ, stroke, neurodegenerative condition), or post-op recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring of client conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Fill medication boxes and provide medication management support.
• Vital signs monitoring.
• Educate clients and families on proper care strategies.
• Consult with physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure care continuity.
• Serve as a trusted resource for caregivers, supporting training and adherence to care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client care using Wellsky or similar tools.
• Uphold Cambridge Caregivers’ philosophy of compassionate, dignified, client-centered care.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all clients at all times.
