Job summary

Great Heroes Home Healthcare Agency in Miami, FL is seeking a compassionate RN to join our at-home healthcare team. You will conduct in-home assessments, administer medications, and coordinate care with physicians and therapists to deliver high-quality, personalized care in patients' homes.

The ideal candidate has an active Florida RN license, 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience (home health preferred), and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Florida is required.
1–2 years of clinical nursing experience; home health preferred.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
Strong knowledge of skilled nursing procedures and wound care.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Compassionate, self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-home patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and changes in condition.
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and family on disease management, medications, and home safety.
Perform wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and agency home health regulations.
