Northwell Career Site is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide age-specific nursing care in a New York setting. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, with collaboration across physicians and health-team members.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, enrolled in a BSN program (with progression timeline) and hold a NY RN license; a valid NY driver’s license may be required depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within five years.
• Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required; plus specialized certifications as needed.
• Valid Driver's License in New York State required may be required depending on area of assignment.

Responsabilités

• Performs age-specific plan of care using the nursing process and collaborates with physicians and health team members to coordinate care.
• Interprets and implements treatment plans, communicates patient status, and documents care.
• Provides discharge planning and coordinates referrals as appropriate; ensures safety and urgent response when needed.
• Participates in education for patients and families, and maintains accurate documentation of treatments and responses.

Formation

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date

Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State

plus specialized certifications as needed

Valid Driver's License in New York State required may be required depending on area of assignment
