Description
Position Summary:
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming with clients in a home setting, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Providing predominantly play-based therapy, the RBT will support Westside clients in the development of a wide variety of skills.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2 PM - 7PM
Essential Functions:
- Travel to clients' homes to provide therapy services
- Implement direct therapy services for assigned clients and caseload, following programming written by BCBA
- Engage with BCBA during regular supervision sessions to ask questions and receive feedback
- Collect and record data on patients behavior
- Complete and submit required documentation (SOAP notes, etc) in a timely manner, aligned with Westside's policies and procedures
- Develop strong relationships with the children on your caseload and strive to make every session a fun experience
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience and Credentials:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active RBT certification required within 60 days of hire
- Ability to work independently and provide direct care with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel and provide direct care in clients homes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competence with a variety of computer applications
- Comfortable persona to better develop relationships with children and their families

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- In-home setting, varied environments with potential exposure to allergens
- Ability to learn and implement de-escalation skills for client sessions
- Ability to lift or carry 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to work in a variety of positions, including on the floor during played-based therapy
Travel Requirements
- Travel to client homes within the designated service area is required
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various locations as needed to provide in-home therapy
- Occasional travel to Westside Children’s Therapy clinics for team meetings or additional training, if necessary
