Job summary

Advanceable ABA VA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver in-home ABA therapy to children in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and surrounding areas. This part-time role offers flexible schedules and the chance to support families in their homes.

Under BCBA supervision, you’ll implement individualized treatment plans, help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills, and track progress with session notes.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (or in progress) with support provided to certification
• 1+ year of experience with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
• Willingness to travel in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach areas

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans with children
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily living skills
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Track progress with accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicate professionally with families and the clinical team
• Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Stay active during sessions (sitting, squatting, walking, running, playing)
