Job summary

Aviation ABA Therapy is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for in-home, Salt Lake County assignments in the afternoons. You will work 1:1 with children under BCBA supervision, applying ABA strategies to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Compensation ranges from $22 to $27 per hour, with full-time or part-time options, afternoons based on client caseload. The role offers a supportive team, BCBA guidance, and opportunities for growth and certification support.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required (or willingness to obtain certification with company support)
• Availability Monday through Friday afternoons
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology preferred
• Reliable transportation within Salt Lake County
• Able to kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable using tablets for data collection
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Genuine passion for working with children with autism and developmental disabilities
• Eligible to work in the United States with valid driver’s license and insurance

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 in-home ABA therapy as directed by your supervising BCBA
• Implement skill-building programs using play-based and structured teaching methods (DTT, NET)
• Record behavioral data electronically using tablets after each session
• Communicate regularly with your BCBA and the clinical team regarding client progress
• Participate in parent training sessions, team meetings, and generalization activities
• Assist with assessments, materials preparation, and therapy session organization
• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and safety protocols
• Maintain client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
• Step into lead therapist responsibilities when requested
