Job summary

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy visits to patients in their homes around Windermere, FL. The role focuses on treatment visits under the supervision of a licensed PT, with compensation per visit or hourly depending on case and service.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of clinical experience, home health experience preferred, and are able to travel to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license is required.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience.
• CPR certification and Level II background screening.
• Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
• Ability to travel to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA treatment visits as outlined in the Plan of Care.
• Carry out therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient response and report progress to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety strategies.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate, timely, and defensible clinical documentation.
