Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to serve clients in Frederica, Delaware. This role involves visiting patients at home to deliver PTA care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, with emphasis on safety and dignity in the home setting.

Ideal candidates will hold PTA licensure, have completed a two-year PTA program, and be comfortable traveling within Kent County.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Graduated from a two-year college level PTA program approved by the APTA.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes to provide 1:1 PTA services.
• Support patients from discharge to home independence and safety.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and self-care.
• Assist patients in achieving optimal physical wellbeing as directed by a licensed PT.
• Coordinate care within a 1:1 home care setting.
