PT Near Me is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-home team, delivering skilled therapy in patients' homes with autonomy and flexible scheduling. We provide scheduling and back-office support so you can focus on treatment.

Based in Zephyrhills and surrounding areas, our PTA handles a variety of cases, maintains home-based care, and enjoys competitive per-visit pay with the freedom to set visits and hours.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
• Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to manage your time and service area independently.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping patients regain function at home.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care in patients' homes — therapeutic exercise, mobility and gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger-point techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.
• Document each visit accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Keep every home visit safe and professional.
• Treat a range of cases — post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.

Most visits are crash-recovery cases billed through the patient's auto insurance. From a Zephyrhills base our PTAs typically cover Wesley Chapel, Dade City, Land O' Lakes, San Antonio, and into northeast Tampa. Routes stay compact and the schedule rarely requires interstate driving. Zephyrhills sits in Pasco County. A large retiree and snowbird community plus accelerating SR-54 residential growth drive post-joint-replacement, balance, and post-accident referrals.
