Regency Pacific Management is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington state to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in an in-home setting. Qualifications

• Requires a Physical Therapy Assistant degree and current state licensure.
• Provides direct patient care under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Follows state-specific laws and the prescribed treatment plan.

Responsibilities

• Instructs patients in active and passive exercises, gait training, functional activities, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment to the PT, nurse, or physician.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers to involve them in therapy.
• Visits patients per Plan of Treatment and documents daily notes.
• Participates in developing the Plan of Treatment with the supervising PT.
• Adheres to Therapy Standards of Practice and communicates progress to the PT.
