Visiting Angels of Bryan is seeking compassionate In-Home Private Duty Caregivers to enhance clients’ quality of life across Central Texas. You’ll work closely with clients on personal care, meals, mobility, and companionship, with flexible schedules and opportunities for training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

The role involves driving clients, coordinating care plans, and maintaining safety standards while providing reliable support in-home and during appointments.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle are required to transport clients.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes on schedule.
• Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards including background checks.
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

As a Visiting Angels In-Home Private Duty Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

In-Home Private Duty Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
