As a Companion Aide - Home Care, you’ll support clients with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and wellness per personalized care plans. Training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care is available for growth.

Qualifikationen

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care.

Aufgaben

• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.

• Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.

As a Visiting Angels Companion Aide - Home Care, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties

• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies

• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
