Job summary

KORT Physical Therapy, part of Select Medical, seeks an In-Home Staff Physical Therapist to join our Jeffersonville, IN team. This role requires traveling to patient homes and different care settings to deliver therapy and improve quality of life.

The position offers a base salary starting around $80,000 with potential for student debt benefits and up to $15,000 sign-on bonus. Full-time benefits and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist in the state of employment.
• Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist.
• Automobile liability insurance and current unrestricted driver’s license.
• CPR certification or complete training required.
• Preferred: Experience with Home Care Home Base EMR System.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients in home care settings to restore function and relieve pain.
• Coordinates travel to patient homes, clinics, and doctor’s offices.
• Assess home environment for rehab and independence improvement.
• Prepare and maintain patient care progress records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and conduct continuing education as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapies, devices, and equipment.
