Job summary

The Bartlett Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living in El Paso, TX is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. The PTA will provide therapy services to patients in their homes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license in Texas.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in home health care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments in patients' homes per the care plan.
• Implement therapeutic programs including exercises, gait, balance, and pain management.
• Observe and report progress to supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Follow plan of care and comply with regulations.
• Communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure a safe home environment for therapy activities.
