Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families across Lansing, Dimondale, Okemos, DeWitt and surrounding areas in Michigan. This role focuses on compassionate, in-home end-of-life care with no corporate contracts or restrictive non-competes.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Weekend availability (Rotational).
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Exude compassion, dignity and respect to all.
• Professional communication with team and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services.
• Consult with pet families to develop and deliver compassionate care plans.
• Coordinate care and ensure comfort for patients in client homes.
