Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking licensed veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services across Atlanta, Roswell, Alpharetta, and surrounding areas. Work in private homes with a focus on compassionate end-of-life care, flexible self-managed scheduling, and mentorship within a small, doctor-led team.

We are a private, family-owned practice that does not use non-compete contracts and values work-life balance.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required to practice veterinary medicine.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel in a mobile environment.
• Weekend availability on a rotational basis.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted; compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia visits with families.
• Maintain professional client communication and empathy during visits.
• Document patient records and notes accurately and timely.
• Coordinate care with team members and support staff.
• Ensure safety and humane handling during home visits.
