Job summary

GYMGUYZ Bergen, Hudson & Rockland Counties is looking for a Certified Personal Trainer to deliver one-on-one fitness instruction across the river-front area of Hudson and Bergen Counties. The role supports both part-time and full-time schedules and emphasizes professional client service.

You will work with a wide range of clients, providing health, fitness, and wellness guidance with the highest level of accountability.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer with an accredited cert (NCCA or DEAC).
• High school diploma or GED; higher education preferred.
• All experience levels welcome to apply; CPR/AED certified; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Follow the workout program from the initial assessment.
• Select customized exercises to meet client needs.
• Demonstrate exercises and ensure proper form with modifications as needed.
• Document and plan sessions in the GYMGUYZ App.
• Complete session notes after each client training session.
• Conduct client reassessments every 4–6 weeks.
• Maintain client sessions using GYMGUYZ scheduling software.

Job Summary

The Certified Personal Trainer will be responsible for providing one-on-one personalized fitness instruction to clients while encouraging them to reach their fitness goals. A GYMGUYZ Trainer will provide professional instruction for each client's health, fitness and wellness goals while providing the highest level of customer service. Job is part time to full time. Client main service area is the river-front area of Hudson and Bergen Counties within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA or DEAC accredited organization).


• Minimum High school diploma or GED equivalent. Advanced education preferred.

• Have a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.


• Knowledgeable of a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.


• Clean Driver’s License/driving record.


• Certified in CPR/AED.


• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties.

• Demonstrate each exercise and ensure the client is performing correctly with or without modifications


• Document and plan your sessions in our GYMGUYZ App


• Complete session notes after each client training session

• Maintain client sessions through GYMGUYZ scheduling software


• Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments
