Job summary

GYMGUYZ Bergen, Hudson & Rockland Counties is seeking Certified Fitness Coaches and Personal Trainers to deliver in-home training to clients in homes, communities, workplaces, and other convenient locations. You’ll build relationships with diverse clients and tailor programs without trainer rent or walk-in pressure.

You will work with a supportive local team, manage your schedule, and push for exceptional client outcomes while leveraging mobile tools and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized personal training certification such as NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or comparable credential.
• Current CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional fitness experience for every client.
• Assess individual fitness needs and goals and develop customized programs.
• Coach safe, effective workouts and conduct periodic reassessments.
• Track progress, document sessions, and provide motivation and accountability.
• Manage scheduling and use mobile tech for notes and communication.
• Collaborate with other GYMGUYZ professionals to ensure quality service.

GYMGUYZ is hiring Certified Fitness Coaches and Personal Trainers to work directly with clients in their homes, residential communities, workplaces, and other convenient locations.

You’ll work with a wide variety of people, goals, ages, and ability levels while being supported by an established local fitness company.

There is no trainer rent, no waiting for walk-ins, and no routine sales requirement. Your primary responsibility is delivering an outstanding client experience.

What We’re Looking For

You should have:

• A nationally recognized personal training certification such as NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or comparable credential
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel locally to client appointments
• Comfort using mobile apps and web-based platforms
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong professionalism and reliability
• Genuine enthusiasm for helping people improve their health and fitness
