Job summary

Home, Hope and Healing, Inc. in Carmel, ME seeks a PSS to work with an Adult client. You will provide in-home, one-on-one, client-centered care and services, with day shifts and flexible scheduling to meet personal needs; Per Diem or Full Time options are available.

Duties include personal hygiene, activities of daily living, light housework, and communicating with the client’s care plan. The team includes regional Nurse Managers who provide ongoing support, supervision, and education.

Qualifications

• PSS/certification preferred but not required; enroll in course within 6 months and reimbursement on meeting work requirements.
• One year of clinical home care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1, client-centered care and services.
• Work with an Adult client in the Carmel area.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as part of the care plan.
• Coordinate with regional Nurse Managers for ongoing support and education.
