Job summary

Safe Harbor Home Care, a San Diego–based provider, seeks Personal Care Attendants to deliver non-medical in-home care and companionship. You will assist with daily living activities, hygiene, meal prep, and light housekeeping while ensuring respectful, client-centered service.

Ideal candidates meet CA HCA registration, pass essential verifications, and complete required training before working with clients in home or community settings. Flexible schedules and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents required.
• Clearance verified on Home Care Aide Registry.
• TB certificate current.
• Registered with the state of CA and active HCA number.
• Completed LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement.
• Completed LIC 501 Personnel Record.
• Completed SOC 341A Statement Acknowledging Reporting of Abuse.
• Minimum of five hours orientation before client contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Bathing, dressing, ambulation, mouth care, feeding, toileting, incontinence care.
• Skin care, transferring, meal planning and preparation.
• Medication reminders and light housekeeping.
• Provide care in client’s home or community settings with compassion and respect.
