Village Caregiving - Youngstown, OH seeks compassionate In-Home Personal Care Assistants in Newton Falls, OH to help clients with daily living activities, mobility, personal care and light housekeeping in-home. Responsibilities include assisting with medications, attending appointments or walks, and supporting exercises as prescribed.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care.
• Help with mobility and accompany to appointments or walks.
• Assist with prescribed medications as directed.
• Support with light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as advised by caregivers.
• Collect and relay information about conditions and treatment plans to nurses or family members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
