Comfort Keepers in Scranton, PA is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide hands-on care, daily routine assistance, and compassionate support that empowers seniors and local veterans to live safely and with dignity.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home care, family caregiving, or personal care (CNA, HHA, or personal care background welcomed)
• A calm, empathetic bedside manner centered around patient safety, comfort, and dignity
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
• Clean background check and a dependable commitment to your schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide gentle, dignified personal care assistance with morning hygiene, bathing, showering, and dressing
• Support safe mobility, gentle transfers, and guarded walking throughout the home (assistive equipment guidance provided)
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a comfortable, fall-safe living environment
• Offer calm, supportive companionship for individuals navigating memory or mental health needs
• Build lasting bonds with clients and their families as a vital, trusted member of their care circle

Pay:

$11.25 – $13.00 per hour
