CareOne Senior Care in Southfield, MI is seeking dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and adults. Training and ongoing guidance are provided, and no prior caregiving experience is required.

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with varied shifts, weekly pay, and benefits. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, with certain specialty cases paying up to $22.50 per hour, and opportunities to advance within a supportive team.

Responsabilidades

• As a Personal Care Assistant, assist with daily activities per care plans.

• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and basic tasks.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Provide medication reminders per plan.
• Document shifts and follow safety procedures.

Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver – Southfield, MI

CareOne Senior Care is hiring dependable and compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care to seniors and adults in Southfield, Michigan, and surrounding areas.

Position Details

• Location: Southfield, MI, and surrounding areas
• Position: Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver
• Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour for standard caregiver assignments
• Specialty Assignments: Certain specialty and couples cases may pay up to $22.50 per hour
• Employment Type: Full-time and part-time opportunities
• Experience: Not required; previous experience is a plus

Job Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will help clients with daily activities and provide support based on their individual care plans. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Preparing meals and encouraging proper hydration
• Providing companionship, conversation, and social interaction
• Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and basic household tasks
• Assisting with walking, mobility, and transfers as appropriate
• Providing medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, and other activities when needed
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition to the office
• Completing required shift documentation
• Following care plans, safety procedures, and company policies

Available Scheduling Opportunities

We offer a variety of assignments to accommodate different schedules and availability. Opportunities may include:

• Full-time and part-time schedules
• Day, afternoon, and evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Weekday and weekend assignments
• Live-in assignments
• Long-term, ongoing cases
• Short-term assignments

Schedules and available hours vary by client and assignment.

Pay and Benefits

CareOne Senior Care offers the following compensation and benefits:

• $15.00–$17.00 per hour for standard caregiver assignments
• Specialty and couples assignments paying up to $22.50 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Optional early access to earned wages through Tapcheck
• $150 caregiver referral bonus, subject to eligibility requirements
• Mileage reimbursement for approved client-care transportation
• Supplemental dental, vision, hospitalization, disability, and life insurance options

Benefit eligibility and availability may vary by plan and employment status.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be dependable, compassionate, and respectful
• Have reliable transportation to assigned client locations
• Have a valid driver's license
• Maintain current vehicle registration and auto insurance
• Be able to work independently in a client's home
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the office
• Successfully complete the required criminal background screening
• Have a current TB test or be willing to obtain one before employment begins

Previous experience in home care, personal care, CNA work, direct care, or caregiving is welcome but not required.
