CareOne Senior Care in Pontiac, MI is hiring in-home caregivers to support seniors and adults in their own homes. Training and guidance are provided to prepare you for caregiving assignments.

Responsibilities include personal care, meals, companionship, home safety, and helping clients maintain independence, with flexible scheduling across mornings, evenings, weekdays and weekends. Do you enjoy helping others and making a difference in someone's life? CareOne Senior Care is looking for dependable and compassionate caregivers to provide support to seniors and adults in their own homes in Pontiac, Michigan.

Training and guidance are provided to help you prepare for your caregiving assignments.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities will vary depending on each client's needs and may include:

• Assisting with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, grooming, and daily routines

• Preparing meals and providing assistance with eating when needed

• Offering companionship, conversation, and engaging activities

• Helping clients maintain a comfortable and safe home environment

• Supporting clients with everyday activities while promoting independence

Flexible Scheduling Opportunities

We offer a variety of assignments to accommodate different availability and scheduling needs, including:

• Morning and afternoon shifts

• Evening and overnight shifts

• Weekday and weekend opportunities

• Part-time and full-time positions

• Extended shifts and select live-in assignments

• Ongoing client placements and temporary coverage

Available hours vary by client. Specific schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.

Pay and Employee Benefits

• Regular caregiver pay: $15–$17 per hour

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are:

• At least 18 years old

• Dependable, patient, respectful, and compassionate

• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes

• Able to communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff

• Willing to complete required background screening and TB testing

• Able to provide reliable transportation when needed

For assignments involving client transportation, a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and auto insurance are required.

No previous caregiving experience is required for eligible entry-level assignments. Experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, home health aide, CNA, or direct care worker is welcome.
