Job summary

Visiting Angels of Webster Groves is seeking caring in-home Personal Aides to support clients throughout the St. Louis area. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and transportation while providing companionship and wellness support per care plans.

Advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care is offered for caregivers seeking to broaden skills, with flexible schedules and opportunities for growth within the nation’s #1 network for at-home care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid training and emergency response required.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties.

Role

In Home Personal Aide Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
