Job summary

Visiting Angels of Webster Groves is seeking an At Home Caregiver to serve clients across the St. Louis area. You will provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities, while adhering to individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Strong communication and reliability are essential; training in first aid is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle for client transport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• First Aid and emergency response training required (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with housekeeping, cooking, and dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

As a Visiting Angels At Home Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents

• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
