At Avenues Home Care of East Tennessee, our caregivers are our front line and most common representatives. As an In Home Personal Aide, you will care for the elderly, vulnerable, disabled, and those who cannot care for themselves. You are required to prioritize the client’s needs and perform duties with utmost care. Our office in Johnson City serves the Northeast Tennessee area, including Greeneville, Chuckey, Bulls Gap, Mosheim, Midway, Limestone, Telford, and others.

Our Caregivers

We match clients with caregivers through our CareMatch program, assessing needs to provide the best care. Our caregivers are trained in the Avenues Home Care Way to meet high standards of service. We use behavioral assessment tools to match caregivers’ skills and personalities with client needs and desires.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, transferring, eating, and continence care, as per the client’s care plan.
  • Assist with medication management, housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, feeding, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
  • Perform other household tasks as specified in the care plan.
  • Report daily activities to supervisors via management system, logs, and other communication channels.

  • Minimum requirements: 18+ years old, valid driver’s license, insurance, CPR & First Aid (preferred), CNA or caregiving experience (preferred)
Preferred Experience

Experience assisting with ADLs or caring for elderly or disabled clients.
