Job summary

Amazing Care Home Health Services in Utah County seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver in-home care, performing evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for clients of all ages. You will implement speech therapy services in home and community settings, coordinating with physicians and care teams to improve communication, feeding, and social functioning.

The role supports pediatric and adult patients, with travel between visits reimbursed, and a part-time schedule

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
• ASHA Certification or documentation of passing PRAXIS exam and completion of a Clinical Fellow/Externship.
• Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of Utah.
• Active BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in Speech Language Pathology is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate, high-quality care by performing evaluations and interpreting results, developing a plan of care with skilled interventions and goals.
• Develops and implements speech-language treatment plans in home/community settings.
• Assists pediatric and adult patients to improve cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional functioning.
• Coordinates care with referring physician and other healthcare organizations to ensure safe, effective care.
• Instructs client and caregivers in the treatment plan and referrals as needed.
• Prepares and submits documentation per policy; maintains clinical competency in speech-language pathology.
