Visiting Angels Paris, TX is hiring compassionate In Home Patient Care Assistants (PCA). You will support clients in their homes across the local area with mobility, meals, and daily tasks while following care plans. Flexibility in full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts is available to fit your schedule.

Training in dementia and Alzheimer's care is offered to grow your skills. Strong communication and reliability are essential to brighten each client’s day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Physically able to assist with mobility, lifting, and chores.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light exercise and mobility support.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients and assist with housekeeping.
• Report health changes or incidents promptly to supervisors.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Accompany clients on shopping trips and appointments.
• Remind clients to take medications and monitor adherence.

• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients

• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
