Visiting Angels is seeking an In Home Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients in their homes across Paris, Greenville, Texarkana, and nearby areas. The role focuses on enriching quality of life with compassionate care, mobility support, and daily living assistance.

You will work with custom care plans, provide companionship, assist with meals, medications reminders, and light housekeeping, while maintaining safety standards and reporting health changes as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with light housekeeping and cooking tasks per dietary needs.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards and background checks.
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten clients’ days.

In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
