Visiting Angels Bryan is hiring In Home Patient Care Assistants to serve clients across Central Texas. As a PCA, you will support wellness and daily living per personalized care plans, with flexible schedules and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required (provided if needed).
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes when scheduled to provide care.
• Be physically able to assist with mobility, groceries, and transfers.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while following dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical activity or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
